Mentor / Coach

ACT-SO New Brunswick’s success is due largely to the dedication and commitment of the local ACT-SO sponsoring unit adult volunteers, community leaders and entrepeneurs to serve as mentors and coaches. These individuals volunteer their time and resources to the youth of their communities to promote academic and artistic excellence among the students. There are 26 categories of competition in the sciences, humanities, performing arts, visual arts and business.

Students work with ACT-SO mentors who help them develop their gifts, skills and projects throughout the year in preparation for the local and national ACT-SO competitions.
